Apparently, Fox knows how to suck non- American Idol watcher to watch at least ONE episode of the show. I don't really watch American Idol (call me crazy) but when I saw on a commercial that they'd be singing Lennon and McCartney's songs I just HAD to tune it in.
I also want to just say that the women of the American Idol judges table are COMPLETE IDIOTS TODAY. Big Mike sang Eleanor Rigby (AMAZING SONG!!!!!!!!!). And both Ellen DeGeneres and... that other lady thought that he'd changed up the order. They kept saying that "maybe the order was a little crazy".
If they knew their history on this great Beatles song, they'd know that that was the EXACT SAME ORDER the song originally had.
So... I guess they're calling John and Paul's choice of order... crazy?
I guess it was in some cases, but not this time around.
BTW, Mike, Crystal, and whatever girl sang Let it Be did great on Eleanor Rigby, Come Together, and... Let it Be! They'll never be better than the original though, baby! I sure love them.
