Feelin' Good! >_O (<< thats supposed to be someone winking)

Wow. It took me a while, but i finally finished listening to the John Lennon Anthology box set. So... I guess it's pretty obvious why I feel good then, huh?

So, while I was listening to the 'bonus' tracks on the fourth disc I decided to wikipedia the John Lennon shooting.

Of course I'd already known about it and Mark Chapman and all of that. So I wasn't expecting I'd cry after reading just about every paragraph.

Actually, the first part of it that made me cry was that John skipped on eating out after recording because he wanted to get home in enough time to say goodnight to Sean (his son who was five at the time).

Shooting is bad anyway. Killing is really bad no matter what. Killing John Lennon is sick and twisted. Killing a John Lennon that came home early just to say goodnight to his son? There really aren't even words that I can say about this.

I've been following Sean Lennon (it's kind of cool their names rhyme) on twitter for about a week and a half now. There are times when he looks just like his dad. And even when he looks least like him he still does. Of course, he doesn't look as clone-y as Paul McCartney's son. Seriously, if James actually grew out his hair, died it black, and walked next to his dad in a stage suit people would FREAK OUT!

And then there's the freakish resemblence of George and his son, Dhani. The only actual difference is that is face is only SLIGHTLY fuller. Slight enough to notice it, but so minute that they still look like the same person.

In fact, I think Ringo's son, Zal, is the Beatle-son that least resembles their Beatle-dad. But he still looks like him in the sense that he inherited his short head and face. And the distinguished, prominent, Ringo nose (not making fun of it. It's kind of a signiture at this point). You can tell that that's his son, if you pay attention to these features.

You know, sometimes I wonder how the things I talk about turn into a bunch of different things that are almost completely off of the subject of the one before it. I think I just talked about three different things. I'm just glad that they all ended up being about the same people/thing this time. It might have seemed kind of crazy otherwise.

Beatles and Stuff,
